Regarding the repair work for replacement of water supply network on Peremoha street in Uzhgorod

Despite the difficult weather conditions, the work is being carried out according to the planned schedule, with almost no deviations. The work will be completed today (July 14), – the MU "Vodokanal of Uzhgorod" informs.

Recall that the repair is being carried out to replace old and rotten water pipe with a diameter of 630 mm (which in many places was like a sieve, and because of that accidents have often occurred, a lot of water has been lost because of hidden leaks) with a new branch of the water supply network that has been prepared for this purpose in advance.

The main works are being carried out at the corner of Peremoha – Lehotsky – Babiak streets, and at the entrance to Storozhnytsia. 

To complete the work and resume water supply in the city as soon as possible, the work was also carried out at night. But due to force majeure, namely, storm and heavy rain, the work had to be suspended about 2 o’clock at night and continued after the rain was over.

At this point, the switchover of the water supply line at the corner of Peremoha – Lehotsky – Babiak street has been completed.
