Pyrotechnics of the State Emergencies Service destroyed 35 explosive devices

On July 21, pyrotechnics of the special purpose rescue squad removed and destroyed 25 shells of 82 mm caliber and 10 grenades of the Second World War period, which had been found in a wooded area near the village of Yasinya in Rakhiv district, the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region reported. The de-mining works are being carried out together with officers of the Security Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region.

Today, July 22, the works will continue.

Rescuers ask citizens to follow the rules of handling explosive remnants! If you find any suspicious metal objects similar to explosive, do not touch them and not try to defuse the bomb. Instead, mark the place of discovery, report it to the authorities, local government, police or call the Rescue Service 101.
