To build the trust between society and government is a primary objective of the Public Council at the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration which was announced by its President Fedir Kharuta today, April 5, during the meeting.
Most of it was devoted to organizational issues – work of council members in committees, election of the Deputy Chairman and the Presidium of the Council, technical changes to the regulations and so on.
In total, the Public Council meeting was attended by 88 members. Thus they decided: there will be 20 committees in the Council, their chairmen shall automatically become members of the Presidium, and the Chairman of the Council shall have nine deputies – each will be in charge of a particular line of work.
To make the work of this body more accessible to the public, they scheduled to form the press center of the Council this year.
In addition, today the Public Council at the Regional State Administration adopted the appeal to other community councils that operate in local government to sign a memorandum of cooperation and partnership.
Also today, the Council members collected 991 UAH for a "Heart to Heart" project. The money will be used to treat children with hearing impairments.
