Members of the Transcarpathian Regional Council supported the parliamentary inquiry of Miroslava Kalamunyak to take measures to check the legality of the construction in a green zone at Uzhgorod, Volodymyrska st., 78 and sent it to the prosecutor’s office in Transcarpathian region
"In connection with the appeal of the voters, at the plenary meeting of the Regional Council on 07.03.2014, I lodged the parliamentary inquiry to check the legality of the construction in a green area of the five-storey apartment building at: Uzhgorod, Volodymyrska st., 78.
The Inspectorate of the State Architectural and Construction Control in Transcarpathian region did not provide full answer, in particular: did not indicate the legality of the allocation of the land for building (lease agreement), did not verify the legality of the construction object passport approval. Also, they did not check the observance of building codes: whether the original project corresponds to the scope of the work, as currently, 3 floors have already been built which is contrary to the requirements of individual housing construction
For these reasons, I ask the prosecutors to take action and, if any violations are found out, to bring perpetrators to justice and to challenge the relevant decisions of Uzhgorod City Council," – Miroslava Kalamunyak’s inquiry states.
The Prosecutor of Transcarpathian region was instructed to inform deputies on the result of this inquiry consideration.
