Prosecutors returned the community of the village council 4 hectares of land in Uzhgorod district worth more than 2 million hryvnias

In pursuance of the decisions of the Commercial Court of Transcarpathian Region under the claims of Uzhgorod Interdistrict Prosecutor for the benefit of Solomonovo village council, debtors PE "Bet" and PE "Electrotech" actually returned 2 land plots in area of ​​4 hectares valued at 2.1 million hryvnias to the reserve lands of the village council, the head of the department for protection of the interests of citizens and the state in the execution of judgments, Senior Counsellor in Justice Vasiy Kostak reported.

It was preceded by prosecutors’ appeal to the court for termination of the lease agreements and return of the land to public ownership as the companies were not actually paying rent for the land.

In total, since the beginning of the year, 110 hectares of land, valued at more than 6 million hryvnias have actually returned to the state and local governments by court decisions under claims of the region prosecution offices.
