Accident happened on the highway Chaslovtsi-Pidhorb not far from Uzhgorod on Tuesday, June 26, approximately at 9.30 p.m. Uzhgorod taxi driver, driving a car ‘Daewoo Lanos’, ‘did not fit into the rotation’ at the crossroads, drove on the territory of roadside cafe and knocked down two men. The injured were taken to the hospital.
This taxi driver has already been detained three times for driving under alcohol intoxication during 2010-2011. According to these facts TP employees in the Transcarpathian region drew protocols on administrative violations, which were sent to court. Upon consideration of which, the court twice made the decision to release the offender from responsibility by once he was applied to an administrative penalty in the form of oral comments.
Prosecution Services of the Transcarpathian region checks specified offenses, during which will be given a legal assessment of legality of decisions made by judges of Uzhgorod city district court.
