Today, April 9, at about 15.30, in the village of Hat in Beregovo district, there was an accident involving a police car Skoda Octavia. As the communications department of the Transcarpathian regional police reported to the UNN, three police officers were injured as a result of the accident.
"The law enforcement officers, who arrived at the scene, found out that a police car "Skoda Octavia" and three officers of the Transcarpathian regional police were invlolved in the accident. No other traffic participants were found at the scene of the incident. Three of our employees, who were on duty at the time of the accident, sufferred injuries of varying degrees of severity. There are no injured persons among civilians", – Tetyana Shchogoleva, the spokeswoman of the police in Transcarpathian region told the UNN.
According to the witnesses, at the moment of the accident, there was another car there. The police are establishing causes and circumstances of the accident.
The Mukachevo.net received a video from the camera that recorded the moment of the accident. The publication claims that the driver of the police car Skoda lost control and drove into the ditch, having hit a tree before that.
