Officers of the Mukachevo District Police are determining the circumstances of the conflict in the village of Rakoshyno that had arisen between a group of people. One of the person invlolved was arrested in accordance with Art. 208 of the CPC of Ukraine. The choice of a pre-trial restraint against him is currently being decided.
At 21:15, the police received a report about a fight on the terrace of a local cafe in the village of Rakoshyno. The crew of the patrol police and officers of the Mukachevo district police department arrived at the scene.
The persons involved in the conflict were taken to the police station. There, law enforcers identified them. They were a 24-year-old resident of Mukachevo and two residents of the village of Domboky aged 27 and 32 years old. As the policemen found out, the men has started a fight and, as a result, damaged the property of the cafe. In addition, as a result of this incident, one of the patrol policemen sufferred bodily injuries.
The youngest of the men, the 24-year-old resident of Mukachevo was arrested in accordance with Art. 208 of the CPC of Ukraine.
Mukachevo District Police initiated two criminal proceedings over the incident: under Part 4 of Article 296 and Part 2 of Article 345 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, that is, hooliganism and intentional infliction of bodily injury to a law enforcement officer. Law enforcers are establishing all the circumstances of the incident. The investigation into the case continues.
