Personnel changes, regional programs, African plague – what deputies discussed (PHOTOS)

On Thursday, July 27, the third plenary meeting of the 7th session of the Regional Council under the chairmanship of Mykhailo Rivis took place in Uzhgorod. The meeting began with a minute of silence in memory of the soldiers killed in the war in the east of the country.

Then, the Chairman informed the audience about new appointments, incuding Leonid Kulyk-Kulychenko – the head of the Department for the Prevention and Detection of Corruption and Interaction with Law Enforcement Agencies of the Regional State Administration, and Ivan Huledza – the head of the Main Department of the State Consumer Protection Service in Transcarpathian region.

  The head of the Main Directorate of the State Consumer Protection Service in Transcarpathian region Ivan Huledza was asked to report about the situation with the detected dangerous viral disease – African swine fever. According to the official, given the seriousness of the situation, all necessary measures are being taken to prevent the spread of this virus in the region. 

Then, Mykhailo Rivis announced a number of parliamentary inquiries concerning the need to repair roads, the construction of kindergartens in mountain villages, the establishment of the Regional Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Svalyava district, and others. 

Then the deputies voted for a whole block of issues on making changes to the regional programs. 

The next 9th session will consist of two plenary meetings (since the budget is to be adopted by December 25): the first meeting will take place on November 30; the second one – on December 21.
