Paying taxi fare with mobile money: a new service is available in Transcarpathia

This is the first experience of this method of payment and in general a partnership of a taxi service and a mobile payment service, which has been implemented in Ukraine.
Now Kyivstar clients can pay for 838 taxi service via SMS.
The service is available to all Kyivstar prepaid service subscribers in 15 cities of Ukraine (Vinnytsia, Dnipro, Drohobych, Zaporizhzhya, Kyiv, Lutsk, Lviv, Mariupol, Odessa, Poltava, Stryi, Sumy, Truskavets, Uzhgorod, Kharkiv) where the taxi service is available. The payment is made with Kyivstar Smart Money financial service. To do it, when ordering a taxi, you need to specify "Smart Money" from Kyivstar as the payment method, or download the Taxi 838 application from the App Store or Google Play and choose the appropriate form.
The main advantage of the "Smart Money" service is that now clients do not need to enter their credit card information, and just need to have the necessary amount on their mobile account.
Paying with mobile money is becoming increasingly popular with Ukrainians. For example, there are 2,500 active services on the Smart Money platform with over 10 million transactions carried out. The most demanded services are the payment for telecommunication services, national lotteries, purchases on the Internet and payment for public transport.
