Patriotic poetic event on the occasion of the Day of Dignity and Freedom will be held in Uzhgorod

On November 21, 2019, at 16:00, the Transcarpathian Regional Universal Scientific Library will host a patriotic poetic event "We did not disgrace the glory of our ancestors, we sent new Heroes to heaven." The event will be dedicated to the Day of Dignity and Freedom, a holiday celebrated annually on November 21.
  
On that day, we will commemorate the events that changed the course of our history and ourselves, which led to fundamental changes in our country. It was a time of difficult trials for Ukraine demonstrating the desire for freedom and real independence. Dignity and freedom cost us dearly and, unfortunately, we are still paying with the lives of our fellow citizens. 
Not only did the Revolution of Dignity change our history, but it also inspired many creative people for poems that reflect all that pain and passion, so the event will feature poetry dedicated to those difficult times and the people who made the revolution. 
Also there will be a book exhibition dedicated to the Day of Dignity and Freedom "Ukraine Lived in Their Hearts".
