As at 31 December 2015, 311.5 million USD have been directly invested in Transcarpathia since the beginning of the financing the economy of the region. It is less by 6.8% than as at the beginning of 2015. The EU-countries invested 235.8 million dollars, while the USA and other countries – 75.5 million dollars.

During 2015, 16.1 million dollars of foreign direct investments (share capital) arrived in the economy of the region. The decrease of the capital is 11.1 million dollars per year (including the exchange rate differences – 27.5 million dollars).
The investments arrived from 46 countries. The ten countries with 83.6% of investments are: the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Japan, Austria, the USA, Hungary, Italy, Malta, and Cyprus.
Industrial enterprises comprise 245.7 million dollars (78.9%), in particular, the process industry is 243.2 million dollars. The transporting, storage facilities, mailing and delivery services compose 21.2 million dollars.
The debt for credits and loans, trade credits and other obligations of enterprises before foreign direct investors is 56.5 million USD as at 31 December 2015.
