“Our weapon is brush and paint, this is how we fight the lie and the aggressors”… (PHOTOS)

Yesterday, the traditional exhibition timed to Easter opened in the "Uzhgorod" gallery. More than thirty artists presented their works at the discretion of the audience. About fifty works are exhibited in the hall. Both current and, as the head of the Union Boris Kuzma believes, future members of the Transcarpathian organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine participate in the exhibition.

As he told Uzhgorod.in, the works, that will be exhibited in the gallery for ten days, will bring joy, because each of the authors revealed their souls in them.

"You will not find sacred subjects in every work, but each of the authors opens up his soul.Paintings depict spring, blossoming feelings… We always try to celebrate this holiday, reminding of it through art and showing the viewer things that are related to our spirituality. Now is the difficult period in the country, but I believe that our task is to do good through art.  Our weapon is brush and paint, this is how we fight the lie and the aggressors," – Boris Kuzma said.  

People’s Artist of Ukraine Volodymyr Mykyta, who provided two paintings for the exhibition, said at the opening that there are no superficial works in the gallery, all are worthy of attention and waiting for their audience.

The exhibition will run for 10 days.
