On the occasion of the Independence Day Transcarpathians received state awards

Well-known people in the region – artists, doctors and journalists – have received some of the highest awards in their fields of work.

On the eve of Independence Day of Ukraine, seven Transcarpathians received state awards.

        The head of the Transcarpathian regional TV and Radio Company Rostislava Dzhumurat received the title of "Honored Journalist of Ukraine", Natalia Zasukhina, the head of the troupe of the Transcarpathian Regional State Ukrainian Music and Drama Theatre received the honorary title of "Honored Artist of Ukraine". The director of Vynogradiv district centralized library system Katalina Vashkeba was awarded with the title of "Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine."

         Transcarpathian artists Boris Kuzma and Vasyl Svalyavchyk were awarded with the honorary title of "People’s Artist of Ukraine".

The head of the gynecological department of Mukachevo Central District Hospital Yaroslav Lani and Professor of the Department of Surgical Diseases of the Medical Faculty of UzhNU Stepan Chobey received the honorary title of "Honored Doctor Ukraine".
