To mark the 200th anniversary of the birthday of the Prophet of Ukraine – Taras Shevchenko, on March 9, on Narodna Square, near the monument to Shevchenko in Uzhgorod, a Popular Assembly will be held by the regional government and public.
The program includes speeches of representatives of the authorities and the public, laying of flowers at the monument, and a prayer, according to tradition.
At 16:00 in the Regional Ukrainian Musical and Drama Theater, there will be a concert "In the free, new family."
