On Sunday, the Day of Forestry Workers will be celebrated in Transcarpathia (Announcement)

This Sunday (16.09), the solemn events on the occasion of the Day of Forestry Workers of Ukraine will take place in the city of Beregovo on Kossuth Square. Labor collectives of forestry enterprises of Transcarpathia, regional administration officials, pupils of school forestries, representatives of non-governmental organizations will take part in the celebrations, the press service of the Transcarpathian Regional Forest and Hunting Range Administration reported.
The format of the holiday includes children’s locations with contests, master classes, games and nice gifts. Children will be taught to plant and care for the forest plants, to make birdhouses and feeders.
During the culture and art program, there will be an exhibition of Transcarpathian artists, a solemn march with the participation of the ensemble of drummers of Uzhgorod College of Culture and Arts and the State Forest Guard, a concert on the main stage of the holiday.
According to the organizers, every guest of the celebration, who respects the green dress code, will receive a nice present in memory of the Transcarpathian Day of the Forest.
