On Saturday, victims of the Holodomor will be commemorated in Mukachevo

On November 24, at 15.45, a rally-requiem and service with the participation of the public and representatives of the largest religious denominations of the city will be held on the central square of the city, near the monument to Cyril and Methodius.  At 16.00, the victims of the Holodomor will be commemorated with a minute of silence and lighting of candles within the All-Ukrainian campaign "Light the Candle". On this day, the state flags of Ukraine on the territory of the city will be at half-mast, entertainment events will be restricted. The gathering of participants of the event is at 15.30, the executive committee of the Mukachevo City Council reported.
