On November 12, border crossing through the checkpoint “Uzhgorod” can be hampered

The State Border Service of Ukraine reported that from 10.00 on November 12, owners of cars with foreign registration may start another protest with blocking of the road leading to the checkpoint "Uzhgorod" on the border with Slovakia. The activists organize such rallies demanding to extend transit period for import of vehicles to the territory of Ukraine.

Therefore, due to the possible actions of the activists, the State Border Guard Service appeals to citizens to consider this information and recommends when planning trips with border crossing to choose routes through other crossing points: 

"Mali Selmentsi" (pedestrian and bicycle) – from 9:00 to 21:00;

"Maly Berezny" (car, pedestrian and bicycle) – around the clock;

"Chop (Strazh)" (railway) – around the clock, according to the schedule of trains.
