Yesterday, around 17:00, the unit of the MOE in Uzhgorod city received a notice from a resident of the city that in the defunct military base, located on Gagarin street, he had discovered a WWII period shell of 125 mm in diameter, covered with corrosion.
The guard was deployed at the site of discovery.
Then rescuers removed and defused the shell.
