Unknown persons set fire to a car in Uzhgorod - details (PHOTOS)

Law enforcement officers are identifying the arsonists. Criminal proceedings have been opened and appropriate examinations have been scheduled 
According to the official site of the Transcarpathian regional police, investigators of the Uzhgorod district police department are identifying the person who set fire to the car of a resident of the village of Korytnyany. The vehicle was set on fire on January 18, around 2 am.
“An investigative team, a rapid response team and dog handlers arrived at the scene. Law enforcement officers found out that an unknown person had poured flamable liquid on a vehicle Peugeot owned by a 32-year-old resident of Korytnyany and set it on fire. The fire was eliminated almost immediately,” - the police informed.
Also, as reported by the Communication department of the Transcarpathian regional police, the victim was interviewed and the remains of a plastic container with a lubricant were found at the scene. Appropriate examinations have been scheduled.
The preliminary legal classification is Article 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Deliberate destruction of or damage to property). The offender is being identified.
