In Transcarpathia, a man was beaten for debt

A teenager from Mukachevo district and his father severely beat a resident of Vynogradiv district for a debt. The man is in intensive care

According to the Communication Department of the Transcarpathian Regional Police, law enforcement officers of Mukachevo district identified the offender, who had seriously injured a resident of Vynogradiv.
Thus, it is noted that during a conflict between residents of Vynogradiv and Mukachevo districts, a 30-year-old man suffered severe bodily harm. The victim was taken to the intensive care unit of the hospital. An investigation has been launched into this incident
The incident occurred yesterday, January 4, 2020.
"The police received a report from the doctors of Mukachevo District Hospital that a 30-year-old resident of the village of Novoselytsya in Vynogradiv district with severe head injuries had been delivered to the hospital. As the police found out, about 10.30, in the village of Chomonyn, Mukachevo district, a conflict had arisen between the victim and two local residents due to debt obligations. As a result of the brawl, a 16-year-old resident of Mukachevo district and his father inflicted severe injuries to the man. The victim was taken to the Mukachevo District Hospital,” – the police informed.
It was also reported that the police had started investigation into the incident under Part 1 of Article 121 (Deliberate severe personal injury) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Witnesses to the incident have been identified and interviewed. During the investigation, law enforcement officers will find out all the circumstances and cause of the criminal offense.
