New bus routes will appear in Uzhgorod, and some existing ones will cease to exist

New long-distance bus routes will be formed in Uzhgorod, some existing routes will be excluded. Today, members of the executive committee voted for amendments to the terms of the tender for passenger transportation on public city bus routes, as well as changes to the route network.

The following routes will be excluded from the route network after the expiration of the agreements:
№ 1 "S. Petofi Sq. - Dravtsi - Baranyntsi”;
№ 3 "Chornovol st. - S. Petofi Sq.”;
№ 5 "Koryatovych Sq. - Railway Station”;
№ 6 "Koryatovych Sq. - UzhNU”;
№ 11 "Koryatovych Sq. - hypermarket "Nova Liniya" - Volodymyrska st. (via Zahorska st.);
№ 12 "Koryatovych Sq. - Rozivka";
№ 15 "P. Myrny st. - Onokivtsi - Dovha st.";
№ 21 “Chornovil st. - Real Market”;
№ 22 “Chornovil st. - Koryatovych Sq.” (via Peremoha st.);
№ 27 “Uzhgorod College of Culture and Arts - Uzhgorod National University”;
№ 38 "Chornovil st. - Uzhgorod National University” (via S. Petofi Square, Koryatovych Square).

Instead, long-distance city routes will be formed in Uzhgorod, in particular:

№ 11 "Volodymyrska st. - Railway Station” (via Zahorska Street, Koryatovycha Square);

№ 22 "Vyacheslav Chornovil st. - Ivan Kotlyarevsky st.” (via Kapushanska Street, Koryatovych Square);

№ 38 "Vyacheslav Chornovil st. - Uzhgorod National University” (via Oleksandr Mozhaisky Street, Sandor Petofi Square, Ivan Franko Street).
