More than 32 million hryvnias will be allocated for the restoration of the historic center of Uzhgorod

It is designed for 3 years – from 2021 to 2023.

The main tasks:
– to determine technical condition of buildings, structures and facilities;
– to eliminate the negative factors that cause the destruction of buildings, ensure the safe living conditions and functioning of enterprises, institutions and organizations;
– to preserve the unique historical and architectural environment while creating modern urban infrastructure;
– to boost the development of tourism, including international one, as one of the main sources of investment in the economy of the city and the region.

In total, more than 32 million hryvnias are planned to be allocated for the program, most of which – in the first two years of the program.
