Uzhgorod schoolchildren will ride public transport for free!

The Mayor of Uzhgorod Bohdan Andriyiv wrote about this on his Facebook page:

"We are resuming free transportation for schoolchildren in Uzhgorod. As early as November 2. This decision, on my initiative, was supported by members of the executive committee of the city council. I have received a lot of requests on this issue.

I understand how hard it is for Uzhgorod families, especially those with several schoolchildren. For more than six months, we have been living in quarantine conditions, when many people do not work or do not receive as much income as before. And the incidence has only been growing lately. Therefore, we are resuming free transportation for students to relieve the strain on family budgets at least a little."
