According to her, on November 20, around 6 am, a 58-year-old resident of the village of Bereguifolushi appealed to the police. The man said that at night unknown people had stolen a car from his yard.
"As the police found out, a fellow villager of the victim, a 17-year-old boy who had previously been prosecuted, was involved in the theft of the vehicle. The boy broke into the victim’s yard, pushed the car out and drove away. The suspect then parked the car on the side of the street in the neighbouring settlement," – the spokeswoman told.
The young man faces up to 8 years in prison for the crime.
