The 46-year-old local woman had just got out of a minibus and was crossing the road. The victim died at the scene from injuries. The driver was tested for alcohol intoxication and it was established that he was sober," - the spokeswoman said.

The car was taken to the impound lot. Criminal proceedings were instituted for violating road safety rules, which led to the victim's death. The case is under investigation.
