Important to know: the rules for calling ambulance and police in Ukraine have changed

The innovations in the mechanism for calling some emergency services, in particular police and ambulance, have been introduced in Ukraine. Thus, the police can now be called using a proprietary mobile app called My Pol, and changes in ambulance call are associated with the risk of coronavirus spread in Ukraine 
Within the framework of digitization of Ukraine, law enforcement agencies presented a mobile application that would allow police, for example, to know the exact location of a person in trouble using geolocation. It should be said that the application during installation will ask for a lot of personal data from the user, without which, it will not be fully functional.
In addition to calling the police with a red SOS button, the app will allow users to leave a report of an offense with a photo attached. The list of violations can vary. You can also rate the police officers’s performance.
The downside of the apps is that law enforcement can track the location of their users – on the other hand, in the event of emergency, the downside could also be an upside.
