By the decision of the Executive Committee of the Uzhgorod City Council, the territory of 1000 sq. m within Botanichna Embankment (near the children’s railway) was designated as a recreation area.
However, swimming, boating, use of water entertainment facilities are prohibited within the city limits.
According to the decision, the Department of Education should organize lessons in the city’s preschools and schools on the rules of conduct on the water, and the Department of Health should inform the regional center of emergency medical care about the functioning of the designated recreation area near water.
