Ситуація з COVID-19 на ранок 23 травня в Ужгороді, на Закарпатті та в Україні

As of the morning of May 23, 352 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". 

9 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the past 24 hours. 

111 people have recovered  

6 persons have died.

26 Uzhgorod residents are hospitalized, 209 are on outpatient treatment

2 Uzhgorod citizens are in self-isolation 
 
In the last 24 hours, mobile crews have made 10 visits, 85 samples of biological materials have been collected for polymerase chain reaction test. In total, since the onset of the disease, 365 visits have been made, 1864 samples of biological materials have been collected for PCR tests.

In Transcarpathia

According to the Transcarpathian Regional Center for Public Health, as of the morning of Saturday, May 23:

263 Transcarpathians, who had PCR-confirmed coronavirus, have recovered 

Over the past day, 39 people have been confirmed to have coronavirus by PCR testing;

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 1042 persons have been diagnosed with COVID-19, of whom 233 are health care workers, 64 are children. 

26 people with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 have died 

As of the morning of May 23, 9155 PCR tests for COVID-19 have been performed in the region, 539 in the past 24 hours.                     

According to the Public Health Center, as of 9:00 am on May 23, there have been 20580 laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, of which 605 were fatal, 6929 patients have recovered. During the day, 432 new cases were confirmed. Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:

Vinnytsia region - 853 cases;

Volyn region - 759 cases;

Dnipropetrovsk region - 865 cases;

Donetsk region - 143 cases;

Zhytomyr region - 618 cases;

Transcarpathian region - 1042 cases ;

Zaporizhzhya region - 403 cases;

Ivano-Frankivsk region - 1274 cases;

Kirovohrad region - 466 cases;

Kyiv - 2569 cases;

Kyiv region - 1375 cases;

Lviv region - 1285 cases;

Luhansk region - 43 cases;

Mykolaiv region - 280 cases;

Odesa region - 821 cases;

Poltava region - 266 cases;

Rivne region - 1368 cases;

Sumy region - 166 cases;

Ternopil region - 1108 cases;

Kharkiv region - 892 cases;

Kherson region - 177 cases;

Khmelnytsky region - 329 cases;

Chernivtsi region - 2964 cases;

Cherkasy region - 387 cases;

Chernihiv region - 127 cases.

The tests were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories. As of the morning of May 23, 2020, the Center has received 1050 reports of suspected COVID-19 cases.
