Many infected: second-wave hospitals are being prepared in Transcarpathia

Due to the growing incidence of COVID-19, the Ministry of Health is preparing to deploy second-wave hospitals in Transcarpathian, Volyn and Rivne regions.

This was announced at a briefing on July 4 by the Health Minister Maksym Stepanov, a Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"In those regions where the bed occupancy rate is higher - those are Transcarpathian, Volyn and Rivne regions - we have already begun preparations for the deployment of second and third wave hospitals in connection with a significant increase in the number of patients with coronavirus and an increase in hospitalization rate which we see every day," - he said.

Recall that yesterday in Transcarpathia 88 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus.
