COVID-19: the situation in Uzhgorod, Transcarpathia and Ukraine

As of the morning of July 11, 662 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". 

17 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the past 24 hours in Uzhgorod.

351 people have recovered  

13 persons have died.
  
13 Uzhgorod residents are hospitalized, 285 are on outpatient treatment.

In the last 24 hours, mobile crews have collected 84 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction test. 

In Transcarpathia, a total of 3842 Transcarpathians have been diagnosed with COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic, of which 539 are medical workers and 208 are children.

1197 Transcarpathians who had coronavirus have recovered. In the past 24hrs, 108 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19, 6 deaths among patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have been reported.

As of the morning of July 11, 31243 PCR tests for COVID-19 have been performed in the region. Over the past 24hrs, 533 samples of biological materials have been collected and sent to the virology laboratory for PCR testing.

In Ukraine, 800 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the past 24 hours

As of Saturday morning, July 11, 800 new cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in Ukraine in the past 24 hours, and 27 people with confirmed diagnosis have died. This is evidenced by the latest data published on the website of the Coronavirus Epidemic Monitoring System of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC).

In total, during the entire period of the epidemic in Ukraine, according to the National Security and Defense Council, 52843 cases of COVID-19 infection have been confirmed. 26661 people have recovered, 1372 people have died.

Most new cases were recorded in the city of Kyiv (125), Lviv region (119), Transcarpathian region (108).
