COVID-19: the situation as of July 3 in Uzhgorod, Transcarpathia, Ukraine

During the past day, July 2, 410 people sought emergency medical care, 72 of them had symptoms of acute pneumonia, 50 were suspected of having COVID-19.

652 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing were collected.

80 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19, 13 of them are medical workers, 5 are children.

For the past 24hrs, five deaths among patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have been reported. 

987 patients have recovered.

As of the morning of July 3, 575 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". 

5 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the past 24 hours in Uzhgorod.

321 people have recovered  

10 persons have died.
  
16 Uzhgorod residents are hospitalized, 228 are on outpatient treatment.

86 Uzhgorod citizens are in self-isolation 

In the last 24 hours, mobile crews have made 16 visit, 105 samples of biological materials have been collected for polymerase chain reaction test.

In Ukraine, 46,763 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed, 20,558 patients have recovered and 1,212 patients have died. During the last 24 hours, 876 cases have been laboratory confirmed.  
 The number of registered active patients as of 03.07 is 24,993 people. 
 The largest number of active patients per 100 thousand inhabitants is registered in Chernivtsi (300), Lviv (193.3) and Rivne (168.9) regions. 
 Currently, 4,390 persons are hospitalized, 105 of them are hooked up to ventilators. A total of 12,463 people have needed hospitalization, 403 patients have needed to be hooked up to ventilators.  
 3,382 children and 6,874 medics have been diagnosed with the disease, 4,243 medics have recovered.
