During a working trip to Tyachiv district, the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration inspected the condition of the bridge in the village of Bushtyno. Currently, the old bridge is being used there, but it is in a state of disrepair. The construction of a new one began in 2006, but no work has been carried out since 2008.
The bridge in the town of Bushtyno is a part of the route H09 Mukachevo-Rohatyn, which is of great strategic importance. In the event of damage, the detour would be tens of kilometers.
This year, the state has allocated UAH 34 million for the completion of the bridge in the town of Bushtyno. However, there were unresolved issues regarding the project. Oleksiy Petrov appealed to the State Architectural Inspectorate with a request to speed up the review of documents. And the other day, the inspectorate issued a permit, builders can begin work.
It should be added that they have been waiting for the permission to renovate the bridge for more than 10 years.
