Transcarpathians are warned of sharp deterioration of weather conditions

In the evening of February 23, at night and in the morning of February 24, significant precipitation in the form of rain, sleet and snow is expected in most of Transcarpathian region. Heavy precipitation is expected in the eastern districts of the region. Mostly in the mountains, there will be ice on the roads, in some places, slush build-up, rime ice, sometimes snowstorms, in some sections of the roads snow drifts. In some of the region and in Uzhgorod, increase of southeast wind up to 15-20, in high mountains – 25-30 m / s. Approximate growth of snow cover on passes and individual sections of roads will be 12-17 cm. There may be traffic congestions on individual sections of roads and streets (I, yellow danger level).
