Roundtable on the topic of dual citizenship will be held in Uzhgorod (ANNOUNCEMENT)

In the context of the practical implementation of the Memorandum of Cooperation between NISR and 
UzhNU, as well as between NISR and Transcarpathian RSA, the National Institute of Strategic
Research on Wednesday, February 12, will hold a round table in Uzhgorod on the topic
"Dual (multiple) citizenship: the real situation, the challenges, the response of the state and society."
The purpose of the round table is to analyze the various aspects of the dual
citizenship, the risks and challenges in the light of the implementation of the Association Agreement between
Ukraine and the EU, objective differences and peculiarities in the models of the sovereign development of EU member states and post-revolutionary Ukraine, the Russian-Ukrainian military-political conflict over the annexed Crimea and the temporarily occupied regions of Eastern Ukraine.
Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in Uzhgorod,
diplomatic missions accredited in Transcarpathian region, people’s
deputies of Ukraine, representatives of authorities and local self-government,
the expert elite of the region, public, media and NISR scientists were invited to the event.
