COVID-19: the situation as of December 7 in Uzhgorod, Transcarpathia, Ukraine

The situation regarding COVID-19 in Transcarpathia as of 9.00 December 7:

15456 Transcarpathians have recovered

During the past day, December 5, 122 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19. 

282 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing were collected.

For the past 24hrs, 4 deaths among patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have been reported. In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 558 patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have died. 

Overall, as of 9:00 am on December 7, 2020, 24663 patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 2004 are health care workers and 1287 are children.

As of the morning of December 6, 5323 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". 

41 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the past 24 hours in Uzhgorod. 

3186 people have recovered  

76 persons have died.
  
2061 Uzhgorod residents are hospitalized or on outpatient treatment.

According to the Public Health Center, as of 9:00 am on December 7, there have been 821947 laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, of which 13733 were fatal, 423704 patients have recovered. During the day, 8641 new cases were confirmed. Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:
