Following the inspections, a meeting with the participation of the leadership of the Patrol Police Office of the region, the balance holders of the Transcarpathian roads and the Deputy Head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Vitaliy Tsvihun was initiated.
The topic of the meeting was improper maintenance of the road network on some sections of Transcarpathian highways. Patrol policemen gave the responsible persons relevant information regarding the need to remedy the shortcomings of the road network maintenance.
In addition, at the meeting, they decided to pay special attention to patrolling the sites with high accident rates.
In particular, those are:
intersection of the Kyiv-Chop highway (M-06) with Uzhgorodska Street (773 – 774 km), Abransky Pass of the Kyiv-Chop highway (M-06) on the border of Transcarpathian and Lviv regions (702 – 704 km)
So we ask all drivers to be careful while driving! Be responsible and do not violate the rules! – the patrol police of the region summed up.
