COVID-19: the situation as of the morning of August 5 in Uzhgorod, Transcarpathia, Ukraine

During the past day, August 4, 376 people sought emergency medical care, 41 of them had symptoms of acute pneumonia, 20 were suspected of having COVID-19.

847 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing were collected.

78 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19.

For the past 24hrs, 4 deaths among patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have been reported. In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 210 patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have died. 

Overall, as of 9:00 am on August 5, 2020, 5462 patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 703 are health care workers and 301 are children.

As of the morning of August 5, 884 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". 

23 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the past 24 hours in Uzhgorod.

461 people have recovered  

15 persons have died.
  
22 Uzhgorod residents are hospitalized, 386 are on outpatient treatment. 

In the last 24 hours, mobile crews have collected 106 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction test.

According to the Public Health Center, as of 9:00 am on August 5, there have been 75490 laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, of which 1788 were fatal, 41527 patients have recovered. During the day, 1271 new cases were confirmed. Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:
