A priest from Transcarpathia was killed in Khmelnytsky region: suspected murderer detained (PHOTOS)
The body of a 36-year-old man was found on July 25 near a bus stop in a village in Letychiv district of Khmelnytsky region.
The Khmelnytsky regional police say that despite the fact that no personal belongings of the murdered man were found, local law enforcement officers quickly identified him.
The murdered man was a 36-year-old Transcarpathian who was a priest in Prague and had been missing for several days.
Police, after checking everyone with whom the priest had spoken the day before his death, identified the alleged killer.
A 28-year-old repeatedly convicted resident of Druzhkivka, Donetsk region, was involved in the crime.
The suspected killer was detained, and during a search, the personal belongings of the victim were found at his place. They were seized as material evidence.
Currently, the suspect in the crime under Part 2 of Art. 115 of the Criminal Code "Intentional homicide" faces imprisonment for a term of 10 to 15 years or life imprisonment.
