What are the tasks assigned to the new head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration – comment from the Office of the President

Three main tasks set by Kyiv for the new head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, Oleksiy Petrov, were announced during a briefing in Uzhgorod. 
“There are many tasks, but the key ones are effective management in the budget part, ie filling the budget and efficient use of budget funds. The second is the successful completion of the decentralization reform. And the third is attracting investment to the development of the region. Of course, personnel decisions will be based on the performance in the above areas – those, who are capable, will stay, and those, who are not, will be be replaced with someone who works more efficiently,” – the First Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Serhiy Trofimov said. 
Serhiy Trofimov also noted that the President’s Office had no doubts about the integrity of the newly appointed head of the RSA. Oleksiy Petrov had passed all the statutory due diligence procedures. 
"The logic behind the appointment is very simple – because he is a capable manager, especially in times of crisis," – he added.
