The situation with COVID-19 in Uzhgorod today

According to the Uzhgorod City Council Health Department, four people were being treated in the pulmonology department of the central city clinical hospital with a diagnosis of pneumonia; samples from them were taken for COVID-19 test. The samples were sent to the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine", the results of the test were positive. The patients were transferred to the regional infectious diseases hospital.
Today, the mobile team collected samples of biomaterials from 17 employees of the central city clinical hospital: reception staff, laboratory, and pulmonology department employees who have contacted the patients with COVID-19 and their biomaterials. They were sent home for self-isolation, their health status will be monitored by family doctors.
Today, samples will be taken from city polyclinic staff who have contacted with the patient with COVID-19, and the mobile team will take samples of biomaterial from a child who is now home with the mother. Those are the Uzhgorod family, which we reported about yesterday.
