The driver of the minibus fell asleep while driving

The bus accident on a motorway in Hungary occurred because the bus driver fell asleep. This was stated in the comment to the RBC-Ukraine by the Director of the Consular Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Serhiy Pogoreltsev.

According to him, local police confirmed that the driver of the minibus had lost control of the vehicle.

"The bus drove to the roadside and overturned. According to the information received, the accident happened because the driver had fallen asleep while driving," – Pogoreltsev said.
