Ukrainians will be able to register the car directly at the dealership

On November 5, at a meeting of the MIA Public Council, the draft Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Road Traffic" on streamlining the procedure of assignment and production of license plates for vehicles, as well as keeping records of economic entities that manufacture them was unanimously supported.
This was reported on Facebook by Oleg Nazarenko, the Director General of the All-Ukrainian Association of Automobile Importers and Dealers.
“The summary of the amendments: The transfer of the license plate production function from the MIA to small businesses. From now on, when registering a car, you will simply be able to choose a license plate from the common database of license plates, that are not yet assigned to other cars, get a sticker for the license plate at the SC, order the license plate itself to be made at one of the companies that make the license plates and then stick the sticker on them. The register of the entities producing license plates will allow to find out exactly where the license plate was made, in case the license plate does not meet the requirements of state standards. License companies will compete with each other, which will allow to reduce the price of license plates,” - Nazarenko wrote. "PERSHIJ.com.ua”
The expert drew attention to the fact that now Ukrainians will be able to have the chosen license plates made by the company that will offer the most favorable price by presenting a certificate of registration for the car with the specified number. It will also be possible to register a car directly at a car dealership or at the MIA Service Center.
