The commander of the 128th separate mountain infantry brigade Korostelev is being buried today in Sumy
On November 20, in the city of Sumy, in the Holy Resurrection Cathedral, there was a funeral ceremony for Yevhen Korostelev, colonel, the commander of the 128th separate mountain infantry brigade, who on November 12, near the village of Novotroyitske in Donetsk region, sustained severe injuries as a result of a mine explosion and died today at 4.00 am at the Kharkiv Military Medical Clinical Center of the Northern region.
Several thousand people came to say goodbye to Korostelev.
Yevhen Korostelev has been in the ranks of Ukraine's defenders since the beginning of the war. He served in the 25th Airborne Brigade, and made a career from the commander of a platoon of self-propelled artillery battery to the Chief of Artillery - the Deputy Commander of the 25th Airborne Brigade. In September this year, he was appointed as the commander of the 128th separate mountain infantry brigade.
