In Transcarpathia, a tractor ran over a man

The police of Beregovo district are establishing the circumstances of the accident which killed a tractor driver 
Investigators opened criminal proceedings over the violation of the rules of operation of vehicles which led to the death of a person. The body of the deceased was sent for autopsy, and the tractor was taken to the impound lot 
On November 19, at 2:05 pm, the police received from the ambulance dispatcher of Beregovo Hospital a report that in a field in the village of Mala Byihan, a tractor had ran over a man, who died at the scene. 
At the scene, the police found out that a 70-year-old resident of the village of Hat, during harvesting work in the field in the village of M.Byihan of Beregovo district, had violated the rules of operation of the vehicle while manually starting the tractor engine, as a result of which he was crushed by the moving vehicle. The pensioner died at the scene. The body of the victim was sent to Beregovo District Hospital, and the tractor was taken to the impound lot of Beregovo police department. 
The police opened criminal proceedings over violation of the rules of road safety or operation of vehicle by driver in under part 2 of Art. 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The pre-trial investigation in the case continues.
