Accident in Transcarpathia

It has been tentatively established that a 17-year-old boy, while driving a motorcycle, failed to maintain a safe speed and distance and collided with a car driven by a 45-year-old resident of the city of Uzhgorod.  
  
Yesterday, November 23, at about 3:35 pm, the police receive a report that an accident with victims had occurred in the village of Simer in Perechyn district. Having arrived at the scene, the policemen found out that a motorcycle and a car "Renault" had collided on Karpatska Street. As a result of the accident, two people were injured: a 16- and a 17-year-old local residents.   
An investigation over the accident with victims was initiated under Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The motorcycle and the car sustained mechanical damaged and were taken to the impound lot of Perechyn police department. The investigation in the case continues.
