Transcarpathia will become the center of celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Carpathian Ukraine
The government approved the plan of events to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Carpathian Ukraine - the relevant order was signed by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman, the official site of Hennadiy Moskal reported.
Several government departments will be involved in the events, and the Transcarpathia will be the center of the celebration. On March 15, a public assembly with the participation of the leadership of the state will be held at the Memorial Complex "Krasne Pole" near the city of Khust.
The festival "History.UA", which will be held for the first time in Uzhgorod, will be dedicated to the anniversary of the Carpathian Ukraine.
The capital of the Carpathian Ukraine, the city of Khust, will host the jubilee X festival-competition of Sich Riflemen songs "Krasne Pole" and will present a production based on the play by Oleksandr Havrosh "The Last Tango in Khust" on the stage of the Transcarpathian Regional Drama and Comedy Theater.
Also, the release of post stamps and envelopes on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Carpathian Ukraine and the special cancellation is planned. In addition, the production and issue of anniversary coins will be dedicated to the historic date.
