The mountain infantry training center will be opened in Transcarpathia

Mountain infantry training center is planned to be opened in Transcarpathia, - this was stated during the working visit of the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze at the permanent deployment of the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade.

This was reported by the "Transcarpathian Legion" . Mrs. Vice Prime Minister visited the garrison in Mukachevo, where she discussed this matter with the unit's command.

The new military educational institution will include mountaineering complexes of various types, fields for shooting from closed positions, mountain tank ranges and assault areas. The instructors of the school will undergo special training in Italy. The opening of such a center is a vital and important step for the development of the UAF's mountain assault brigades.

In addition, they raised issues regarding the improvement of living and working conditions for contract soldiers, the issue of technical support, prospects in the field of international military cooperation.
