A person was saved thanks to Transcarpathian patrol policemen

Investigators of Uzhgorod district police department are determining the circumstances of illegal enslavement of an Uzhgorod resident in the village of Haloch. During the inspection of a suspicious vehicle, officers of the patrol police found in the trunk a man with his hands tied and a polyethylene bag on the head. It turned out that two Uzhgorod citizens, a 25-year-old and a 23-year-old, called a 26-year-old acquaintance to talk. During the conversation with the latter, the two inflicted him mild injuries and locked him in the luggage compartment of a car "Mazda". 

However, they were stopped by patrol police officers of the Uzhgorod district police department. Now the 25-year-old and the 23-year-old men are suspected of criminal acts under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - under Part 2 of Article 146 and Part 2 of Article 189, ie enslavement or abduction of a person and extortion by a group of persons. The man were detained in accordance with Article 208 of the CPC of Ukraine. They face imprisonment for the crime. The pre-trial investigation continues.
