Transcarpathian rescuers helped tourists who got injured in the mountains

On May 15, Transcarpathian mountain rescue workers conducted two rescue operations to help tourists who got injured in the Carpathians.

Thus, at 12:50, the rescuers received the first report that in a forest area near the village of Chorna Tysa in Rakhiv district, a 24-year-old resident of the city of Dnipro had injured her leg and needed help.

Officers of the Yasinya mountain search and rescue department were sent to conduct search and rescue operation. At 16:50, the rescuers found the tourist, provided her with urgent medical care and transported her to the Yasinya city hospital.

At 16:50, another call for help came from a citizen of Poland born in 1976. On the tourist route in the area of the Menchul valley in Rakhiv region, the foreigner suddenly felt very sick. Rescue teams of the Yasinya mountain search and rescue department were engaged in search and rescue operations. At 20:30, rescuers found the tourist and provided him with urgent medical care. Then he was transported to the nearest settlement and handed over to paramedics for transportation to the Rakhiv Central Hospital.
